The Dry Text Co.

About

Hi, I'm Granth.

I started The Dry Text Co. to make money make words cool again.

ok. also money.

I've been writing content for three years. I also study operations at Ahmedabad University, so deadlines are literally my major.

I wanted a name with some irony in it. So: The Dry Text Co. Don't go by the name, cuz we cheesy.

These days the job has a shorter description. We build shopfronts — the website, the words on it, and the tools behind it. Every so often we build one with no client and no brief, and those go on the self-published shelf.

nobody briefed us. nobody could stop us.

Three things I believe about words

  • If a sentence can lose a word, it will.
  • Funny is a tool, not a costume.
  • The brief is half the writing.

Fun facts

  • Favourite word:
  • Chai over coffee. Cold coffee over chai. Consistency is for fonts.
  • Aspiring DJ. Currently drops lines, not beats.

that word? it's a pun. and a curse word. ask me in person.

The team

Meet the team.

it's a small team. slightly less small now.

Four people. One red pen. You always talk to the person actually writing it.

Got something that needs words?
